This has been an ongoing battle since she was a baby. First they put her facing forward in her car seat when she was around 5 months and I gently corrected them. They reluctantly said “ok” but I don’t fully trust they followed through with my request. They’re constantly loosening her straps to a dangerous extent even though I’ve explained that if (god forbid) they were in an accident it could kill her. A couple weeks ago I found out they were putting her in a booster seat (the kind that uses the car seat belt) at 27 months, and I kindly explained I wasn’t comfortable with that just yet. I gave them an extra forward facing car seat I had laying around the house. She’s with them now and I just FaceTimed her while they were driving, and I noticed the harness for the car seat I gave them wasn’t on!!! No more ms nice mom, I was clearly upset and I told them her straps need to be put on right now. I watched them do it and I know they’re probably rolling their eyes but I’m so tired of this!!! It’s not like I’m asking them to go out and buy all organic food, I’m asking them to do really basic stuff for her safety and they’re just NOT getting it. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2O2SJ2f
