They are not Mama's boys, they just don't know you

My FIL lives a 4-hour drive from us and until a few months ago had a very JustNoGirlfriend who was controlling and had to be the centre of everything. So when our twins were born, they visited maybe every 6 months or so. They broke up and he has been making more of an effort to come visit, coming over every 3 months. He is very affectionate and I know he loves the babies (now 18 months). He loves holding and cuddling them, and for the most part, they also like it. However, after a while they will start getting restless and throw their arms at me. And my FIL will comment about how they are Mama's boys. They don't do this with my parents, who they see all the time. So they aren't really Mama's boys, FIL, they just don't know you. via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2vCNsF6
