Please don't think all mannies are freaks

There is some dude making national news for molesting boys that he babysat (Matthew Antonio Zakrzewski). I actually met him years back when I was looking for a manny for my then 8yo son. He came across as being weird but I wrote it off as his being nerdy or closeted gay. I didn't like how evasive he was when I asked him personal questions. I ended up not hiring him because he lived in OC and wasn't sporty enough for my son. I did hire another manny who worked for us for four years.​I spoke to him a few days ago about it and he also met this guy years ago and he got those weird vibes too. And our former manny is a gay man and my son adored him. He said that he asked Matthew if he was gay and he said no, he was straight. He didn't believe Matthew was straight, but something else. He thought it was strange that he was spending so much time babysitting instead of trying to get a real career instead of a "gig" job. And to add to the irony, our former manny did an internship for the same DA who is prosecuting him and the way things are going, he's probably going to spend decades in prison.​My point is that our former manny says he's heartbroken that this guy is being represented as what all mannies look like.
