My son and his girlfriend ended a pregnancy 7 months ago.. not an abortion debate.

My son (16) told me yesterday that his girlfriend of a year and a half (18, 17 at the time) had an abortion 7 months ago. I had a feeling about it a while back, but I waited until he came to me. I don’t believe that anyone has a right to force a woman to give birth, so that is not really my issue. My son is grieving and I want to know how better to help him. He wants to get a tattoo to memorialize him/her, but I am hesitant about that. How can I help him move on in a healthy way?
