...said my 3 yr old tonight right before running off to read a book with Dad before bedtime.Earlier today he was examining my stomach (i.e grabbing, squeezing, and making fart noises), asking why it looked "big". He was actually referring to the stretched skin and other features common of a post-birth belly. So I casually explained why it looked the way it did and told him he and his older brother used to live in there, and that's why it was "big". He laughed and gave me a hug and then was off to other things. So when he told me he liked my belly, it just made me smile! Im actually very self-conscious about my stomach, but I would never want to project those feelings onto my kids. Anyway, I just love that little guy.
