I have a child and sometimes he gets ill. Not very often. If he gets a cold, we keep him away from other children until he’s well. My parents did the same for me.But so many of the other children we encounter are clearly unwell, and yet are still out and about (swimming lessons, playgrounds, parties), making other children sick. Why do parents do this? Also, what’s the best way to deal with this. If I’m at a regular child activity and someone’s brought their sick kid, can I just say ‘your kid is sick so we’re leaving?’ Or ‘your kid is sick so you shouldn’t be here?’ Or?? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2E8pCap
