I was at the movies recently, and while changing my son a stranger asked "aren't you going to use wipes"? I thought it was weird. The wipes were right there. She explained she thought since I was wiping down with the top of the diaper then wiping up with the back of the diaper, she thought that was all I was planning to do. With a bit of talking I discovered she always just had a handful of wipes at the ready and picked up his butt and wiped his bottom, and deposited each dirty wipe into the diaper. So am I the only one who uses the diaper itself as a first defense THEN wipes?! (I didnt even know that other people didn't all change diapers the way I do!
