I had to get a protective order for myself and an emergency custody order for my son against his father. My son wants to try to call his dad and talk to him. I truly believe his dad is unsafe for all of us to be around right now. Any suggestions on how to explain to my son that it’s not a good time to be around dad without bad mouthing him? I do not want to say anything negative about his father but the whole situation is negative. I just can’t think of a way to be honest without saying anything bad.
