My sweet, sweet boy wrote me a letter for Christmas. Writing a letter is difficult with dyslexia, but he has a gift for words, spelling aside. I spend every day thinking about how bad I've fucked up as a mom. Today, I learned that I have not done so bad after all. He talked about how I've taught him to work hard and be independent, how he's seen me give to people when I honestly did not have much to give. He wrote about how "You always supported me, before you supported yourself." I was a single mom. We were poor as church mice. It didn't matter. This boy has felt my love. Merry Christmas, parents of Reddit. You are all doing a fabulous job. via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2EKQZa4
