Most of what I found is linking SPD to Autism. I know SPD can exist without Autism but was wondering if anyone had any experience with it. I don't think it qualifies for an IEP or services. Autism was ruled out as a diagnosis for my child but something is clearly up. Does this sound like SPD to you?Child dislikes certain textures and feelings. Can't stand water getting on their head or in face. Doesn't like how paper feels. Can't switch up brands or style of underwear or clothing. Doesn't like walking on sand.Doesn't like crowds or noises. Retreats to room when siblings bring friends over. Wears headphones at music concerts.Doesn't like being cuddled.Gets car sick and can't ride rollercoasters.Extremely picky eater.Does that sound like SPD? What are our options if that is our only diagnosis? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2IJhhIs
