"My shoes" A poem for national poetry month

I'm running late for the bus and really need my shoes. If you could help me find them of that'd be oh so kind of you.I know I left them somewhere, maybe by the stairs? I've looked and looked and looked but can't find them anywhere.I think the doggy ate them, he chewed them into bits. Oh me oh my I need them now, I'm at the end of my wits!Maybe they grew legs and walked right out the garden door. I have a friend at school that told me that happen to them before.I think one fell into a pit, yes in a deep dark hole. The other one is probably underneath my cereal bowl.Or maybe they blasted off to space atop a Falcon 9. I really wish I could find them, I haven't got the time.Wait I know, they traveled by balloon and now are high aloft, Oh, look!
