Yesterday as my daughter (3) was sitting calmly in the doctors office reading her book and my son (18 months) was making himself a tornado through the waiting room, a fellow mom told me that her kids were complete opposites as well. My kids have been polar opposites from the start. My daughter was born before my due date and my son was overdue. Daughter was a vaginal birth and son was a c-section. Daughter has lived at the bottom of the growth charts and son is big enough to tackle his big sis to the ground. Daughter loves to snuggle and listen to stories. Son is already too cool for mom's kisses and can't sit still through more than one page of a book. My daughter is compliant and my son likes to test me.I think it's awesome that I get to experience two completely different kids but I think it's funny. When I found out I was expecting everyone told me how great it would be that they were close in age because they would have similar interest and be best friends. Meanwhile my daughter is sitting down coloring and my son keeps kicking the soccer ball in her direction trying to get her to play. It's crazy how the same parenting can produce crazy different kids. At least one will keep me sane when I have two teenagers. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2qLHIGe
