Tireless toddler.

My son turned 2 in January. He is a wonderfully smart boy with an expansive vocabulary and is very curious about the world around him. He truly is a great kid.But I've noticed that he never seems or acts tired. I've seen so many photos of kids (including myself when I was a baby) who had fallen asleep while playing, eating, watching a movie, in the car, etc. My son is not like this.Right up until bedtime every night, he is a burning ball of energy; jumping off the couch, playing with cars, playing basketball, etc. I wouldn't say it's hyperactive energy, but he's always on the go. He never seems tired, he's never fallen asleep when it wasn't specifically planned (one 2-hour nap per day and 9 pm bedtime), and he never seems to slow down or get worn out. He never wants to sit still and just wants to run and jump around.Yesterday for example, he was outside playing at his daycare for 3 straight hours (supposedly being outside has been known to tire kids out a little more?). We took him to the park for an hour after daycare, and then he went swimming for 90 minutes or so after that. I assumed he would be good and tires last night, but he wasn't.I'm not sure I have anything to be concerned about, but it does seem a little strange to me. He just never runs out of energy. Is this normal? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2G0Ojao
