Son's teacher is a threat to his family (domestic violence)

I found out recently that my son's teacher has had multiple orders of protection against him filed by his first and second wives and kids. One order is current from the last two months. There are no criminal convictions for domestic violence. Just the orders of protection.This doesn't change his status as a teacher at the school. What is your opinion on a teacher continuing to be in the classroom under these circumstances? Do you believe the parents should be notified?Edited to add: both orders of protection were extended multiple times (one over 2 years and one every 2 weeks for the last 8 weeks).
