My son(13 months) can’t go see his aunt’s house without coming home sick

I’m not talking about a little cold. I’m talking about coming home with an 104 fever. His aunt and his cousin have a disease that basically leaves them with no immune system. It’s understood that we avoid their house while either family is sick. If my son coughs or has a runny nose we don’t go over there. They do the same and warn us if anyone in the house is sick. Even if no one is obviously sick my son comes home sick. I don’t want to keep him away from his aunt but it’s getting ridiculous.
