Hi:My 13 year old girl has had a crush on a boy since she was 11. The boy has had a crush on her and has been giving her valentine cards and gifts in school. Only her. The boy is one year older. We are considering letting her do a very limited form of dating. Hanging out with him in groups or with a parent present. While I am not that comfortable with the idea, I do believe that kids need to start learning these skills in a very controlled fashion. She still says that kissing boys is yucky.
