Anyone try the "wake to sleep" method for newborns recommended by Dr. Harvey Karp?

I'm due with our 3rd in another week. Our first two are great sleepers now, and we used varying methods of sleep training to get here. But our second was a nightmare sleeper for the first six months so I've been researching different techniques that might make this easier from the get-go.Dr. Karp, of Happiest Baby on the Block fame, has posted about what he called the "wake to sleep" method. The idea is to not worry about baby fall asleep after nursing, but when you put them down in their cot (assuming that's even possible), you wake them up just enough to give them the sensation of falling asleep on their own. Here's his post explaining how it works: http://ift.tt/2EEl1KG seriously thinking of trying this from day one with the new baby, but is it too good to be true? Anyone try this method? I'd love to hear your experiences. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2DYUkmK
