Five year old boy obsessed with girly things.

Title says it all. This is not a new thing for him. I'd say it started around age three, with loving Minnie mouse. He only watches YouTube videos of girl toy reviews (and family bloggers like daily bumps or family fun pack), and is immediately drawn to anything pink/colorful/cutesy/etc. He has zero interest in traditional boy shows.I often come to pick him up at preschool and find him wearing a dress from the dress up clothes. He fashions dresses out of blankets, and makes bows. He has long hair and has asked for it to be styled in braids and stuff, but me being a tomboy... I can't do hair very well...He's very artistic and creative and loves coloring, drawing, making jewelry, painting, clay, etc. These are just a few examples of his behavior...I'm not alarmed or anything by it. He's very feminine, and I'm not bothered... I'm just wondering if this is a phase or what? Do a lot of boys do this?I don't want to be one of those pushy parents who go "OMG MY FIVE YEAR OLD BOY IS REALLY A GIRL" and push him into something that isn't so, but I also don't want to be that parent that makes their child afraid to be who they are.I don't encourage it, but I don't necessarily discourage it either. I've done some experimenting to see if he'd be interested in watching more boy oriented YouTube content, but he wound right back up watching girly videos ten minutes later. He said the boy stuff was boring (I honestly agree there). He doesn't have interest in watching kid shows much. Just YouTube bloggers, toy reviews, slime videos, and cake decorating videos. Lol.I'm not even sure what I'm asking here....I guess... Anyone else have a boy like this? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2sNdtTw
