Trouble with the High School administration?

Has anyone ever had to deal with the high school administering punishment on their child, unjustly?My child is going to get in-school suspension for passing on a non-credible rumor. The school cannot get the rumor-source to admit their role, so my kid is the "fall-guy".The school gets to show that they "resolved" the issue, and my kid gets in trouble.(I am being vague on purpose.)Has anybody ever had to fight the school on something like this?
