Short story that just happened.Sitting on the couch with my sleeping 6mo in my lap, 2yo asks for a snack (like they do). I tell her there’s freshly washed strawberries in the counter.She walks over to the counter, grabs TWO strawberries and hands one to me and says, “for you, Mommy”. Then proceeds to rip off the leaves for me — all of her own volition.I’ve been feeling kinda down in the dumps today and she brought a tear to my eye with her sweetness and thoughtfulness.I love this kid more and more each day. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2EKfYvj
