My son was too worried to wear his new white sneakers.

I bought my son a nice white pair of reeboks for xmas, and I was encouraging him to wear them, he has seemed less than impressed with them and I was dissappointed. It turns out he was afraid that someone would ruin them by "christening" them, and he didn't want to wreck them. I gently reminded him that is 21, 6ft tall and built like a brick shithouse, and that if anyone tried to "christen" his shoes, they would probably be trying to either fight him or fuck him.
