My two sons and I built a kennel for our shepherd puppy today. After I took a shower, I went downstairs to grab some ice cream. I register that my trash can is in the living room, but continue getting my yummies. I then ask my 12yo why my trash can is in the living room while he is watching NCIS as I head back upstairs. He shows me a long piece of wood and some sand paper. "I'm making a katana ". He says he has the trash can to prevent making mess in the living room we just cleaned. Well, hes being creative, not creating a bomb, he even made sure he didnt make a mess. I applaud his creativity, thank him for not making a mess,and head up with my yummy ice cream, he carries on sanding his katana and watching NCIS. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/30U5q4z
