Toddler tantrums

Please tell me everyones toddler is bad around 2? Everyone says terrible twos. My son is a month away from bieng two and now i feel like hes the only kid who freaks out. I never see any other kids throwing tantrums now its my kid. I don't want to leave my house.Its independence with him. Hes fine if hes in an area where he can walk around. But he doesn't stay with us. So mostly that doesn't happen. Stores, malls, out to eat, in line for anything its a tantrum. And theres nothing i can really do about it.Its really making me fear going out. Today we took him on a hayride to go through a light show.i thought hed enjoy. But having to sit with us threw him into multiple fits. I really felt like we were ruining everyone elses good time.I'm not even sure if its a phase anymore.
