PSA: when transporting your child, put your phone in the car seat with them. You will remember to get it, AND baby when you arrive at your destination.Consider this: we are so used to having our phones on our person that if your phone was in your childs' car seat you would not spend more than two minutes without it before checking for its location.I know it sounds ridiculous to think that anyone would forget their child. But with busy lives, multiple destinations, sleep deprivation, changes in routine and schedule, changes in who takes baby to daycare, it can happen, and it DOES happen.Every single summer our babies die a horrifyingly tragic death in summertime heat.Children die, and parents wish they were dead.My most terrifying nightmare with my young son was possibly forgetting him in a car seat in the heat. He was such a great traveler, was quiet and did not make noise. I was a late in life parent that had zero routine or experience looking in the backseat to doublecheck. Even when he was a toddler I would look in my rearview mirror and be surprised to see a person there.Let's start a grass roots PSA. Share this post. Cross post. Let's make this such a movement that you see it on billboards, commercials and movie trailers. Please. This cost zero dollars. Is easy to do. And could save lives. Our children's lives. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2rSfVoH
