So I thought my son was old enough to think things through before taking action, turns out I was wrong. After opening gifts (but before mom and I where done) he decides to take all his presents to his room like the responsible kids he is. Well apparently he gets there with hands full and decides to attempt to turn on the light by pulling the pull cord (550 cord higher than he is tall) with his mouth. It didn't end well and he came into the living room bleeding talking about his tooth being ripped out, we where unable to find said tooth, took him to ER, they said they could not do anything, call dentist he asked me to send photos, confirmed it looked like an adult tooth (kid only has like one or two baby teeth left) and said not much could be done since we couldn't find tooth. The sad part is we have a freaking echo and home automation, all he had to do was ask that bitch Alexa to turn on the damn lights. FMLTLDR My son pulled his own damn tooth on accident on Christmas. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2DQuZYr
