My nearly 3 year old will be having open heart surgery in Jan. Looking for Christmas gift ideas that he can enjoy after surgery.

If any of you have experienced this, I'd love to know what recovery was like. I'll be taking time off work to stay home with him which will be a challenge for both of us.
