My son will be three at the end of January. We've gotten used to him taking a solid two to three hour nap every afternoon, but for the past few weeks, every few days, he just won't fall asleep. For the last three days, it's been a real struggle. Now we understand that's normal; all good things come to an end. But I still feel like he needs that nap. On days when he doesn't nap, we have to be very careful to avoid putting him in the car anytime time after five, because he will pass right the heck out.To give more detail, he always falls asleep by himself, since we sleep trained him at 15 months. His bedtime is technically 9, but it's not unusual for him to lay awake until ten or even eleven after we put him to bed. Which may be a pretty clear sign that the nap is doing more harm than good, as I think about it. But I don't want him to start waking up at 5 am every morning. Any advice is will be greatly appreciated. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2n1rryc
