Cozmo the robot that teaches kids programming has a 29% discount this Cyber Monday. Is the robot any good?

I really want to teach my two kids (5 and 7) the fundamentals of programming from a young age. I feel as though it is going to be even more of a sought after skill in the future and, as with any language, the younger kids are the easier its going to be to learn.I've heard good things about Cozmo, but I'm wondering whether parents have had much luck teaching their kids to code with the kit or whether it's ended up on the shelf after a couple of weeks like most other toys.
