Is it normal that I had nightmares because my son is going away to camp?

He leaves today for 5 nights. They aren't allowed to bring phones. He's only 11 and he hasn't really been away from home. Also, he's such a picky eater that his bag is full of snacks, but I'm worried that he won't eat any real food for 5 days.
