Our 2.5 daughter has started sleeping through the night (finally) for the few months & it has been wonderful. However, the past week or so we have come across a problem that I'm wondering if other parents have encountered. We have 2 cats, & at night one of the cats likes to snuggle with her in the middle of the night. When he sleeps at the end of the bed it's no problem, however he has been creeping towards her head & likes to knead her upper body. He is not declawed & while we trim his nails, they're still sharp enough that when he kneads it can be annoying/painful. She has been waking up at night yelling for us to remove him from her bed because he "scratches" her & we do, but then it takes an hour & a half for her to fall back asleep or she ends up in our bed because my husband works early & I'm very pregnant & exhausted.Short of closing her door at night or using a baby gate (she's potty trained & gets up at night to use the bathroom), does anyone have any suggestions? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2v8xp3C
