The benefits: - we can live in a more affordable home with less bedrooms - I believe that over time, room sharing fosters a sense of security and a better sibling bondThe risk: - 2 y.o. daughter has an amazing bedtime routine ever since we hired a sleep consultant and implemented a plan when she was 15 months. She's 27 months now and sleeps from 7:30-7:30 without needing us. The few times we have gone into her room in the middle of the night, she would get hysterical for at least a few minutes if we left, though admittedly that was quite a few months ago and she's older now. 4 month old is still waking up multiple times a night. Although our consultant insists that 2 y.o. will be fine, I keep envisioning my son crying, us going into their room, and having two crying babies to deal with in the middle of the night. What would/ did you do in your family? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2v6tQe5
