Dad here with 50/50 wondering about my newly turned 3 y/o who has recently discovered himself...

My son has recently started messing with his private parts anytime that he's not wearing clothes and I'm wondering if this is normal and/or what I should do about it? The mother has refused to put forth the effort to potty train him and since he's been with me all summer, I've gotten it done. Part of the secret was to leave him completely naked all day (while at home of course) because he understood the concept of a toilet early on but just refused to tell me when he had to go. Long story short it worked LIKE A CHAMP but during this process I noticed him playing with himself quite often.
