Transitioning 24mo to bed, should I start with naps or night?

We're expecting a new baby in the next month- month and a half and I've got a mattress set up on the floor in our son's (24months) new room ready to transition him from the crib. We've been talking about the transition a lot, and I'm just finishing up with the toddler-proofing before we move him. Any thoughts on whether I should start with nap time or bed time?I was thinking I'd put him down in the bed for his naps for a few days and leave him in his crib at night time, but maybe I should just go whole hog and do everything at once? Or vice versa, put him to bed at night in the new bed and keep him in his crib for naps. He's always been a really good sleeper, except when we're away from home. I'm a little worried the transition might be hard for him because he's always slept poorly in an unfamiliar room. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2gMWtTD
