Opinions from other parents on which toy to get my son for Christmas

My son will be a couple weeks shy of 2.5 years old on Christmas. My husband and I cannot agree on which toy to get him, and I think we need input from other parents who may actually own these toys.My husband wants to get him the Little Tikes 3' trampoline, the one with the bar across the middle. He thinks it will be a great way to get his energy out, especially because I am 30 weeks pregnant with our second child and sometimes it is hard for me to take him to the park, plus the weather is getting much colder. My biggest concern is safety though. What if I am feeding the baby and he gets hurt? I am so worried about it flipping over or him knocking a tooth out on the bar, although I could just be overreacting.I want to get him the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe, the little red car. My son is obsessed with cars and trucks and I know he would love this. Plus I feel like I could strap the baby on and push him to the park in it, which would help prevent him from running off. My husband's concern though is that we live in a two bedroom upper level apartment. He thinks that not only will it take up a lot of room (it doesn't seem that big but I could be wrong), but I will have difficulty getting it down the stairs, especially with two kids. We are planning on moving out in April, but he does have a point.So we are totally lost with what to get. Do any parents own these toys? Is the trampoline reasonably safe for a 2.5 year old?
