2 Year old knows how to scream

In the past few days, our son has started crying and screaming to "hug mama" and he does not stop.It started 3 nights ago. He wanted to drink momma's milk at 3am, but she has implemented a schedule, breast milk in the morning and the evening only.Because my wife was exhausted, she went back to bed (or tried) and I stayed with our boy. And he screamed and cried for her for an hour. Finally, I was able to distract him with a book.It's happened a few times since. Pretty much when something goes in a way he doesn't like, he'll start whimpering to "hug momma" and if he doesn't get her, then he'll escalate.What's the best way to handle this? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2hZivVM
