Father in law just passed away. Wife is with him six hours away. Had to break news to teen kids. This sucks.

My father in law fought cancer for a while, but succumbed today. I had to tell my kids. They are torn up, as they were very close with their grandfather. They also really want to be with their mom, even though we probably won't be there until the middle of next week. I will hug my kids as much as I can tonight, and miss my wife as she mourns the loss of her dad. Hug your family, and call your parents and tell them you love them.
