How do you chill as a family?

Mom (me) and dad are gamer, crafty, homebody type people. We have one 20 month old and another baby on the way. I'm a SAHP and usually get the kid out of the house at least once a day on errands or kid-specific activities (Gymboree twice a week, library, etc.). We go on walks as a family or separately down to the local park several times a week.Today it is rainy and has been a TV and video game day. We recently figured out kiddo can entertain herself with toys mostly for stretches at a time so we can watch one of our kid-friendly shows or run a couple of quests in a video game.I'm feeling a little weird and stressed out about it. Most of my mom-peers are more outgoing, get-out-of-the-house type people and are always on the go, even on the weekends. That sounds incredibly overwhelming to me but I still worry we're not being interesting enough for our kid. Before we had the kid, today would be an ideal day for just chilling. How do you chill as a family, specifically if you also are homebody-type people? Do you allot specific times for your kids? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2dlLG1Y
