Is Sock-stop safe at swimming pool?

Does anyone have experience with using the nonslip Sock-stop under socks when at swimming pools? Does the socks really become nonslip at surfaces such as at the swimming pools? I want to make sure my 6-yr-old is safe to go :) via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/28Um1wY
