When did your kids start shaving their legs? Is 10 too young?

My daughter is 10 and wants to shave her legs. I told her her leg hair is fine but she’s kinda insistent on doing it. Is there any harm in letting her start at this age? I guess I was probably about 12 when I started. I’d rather help her than she go behind my back and cut herself doing it.
