I have been a stay at home mom since my daughter was born. My husband works a lot so he isn’t around us much so she isn’t around males much. Anyways she started pre-k part time 2 months ago. She loves it and has never cried when I left her not even the first day(she’s very outgoing and loves most people). She hasn’t had issues at school besides her teachers told me she didn’t much care for the male teachers(they are in other classes she only sees them when they go to the playground and play for like 20 mins a day). Well this week one of her teachers has been sick so she didn’t come in mon or today. They had a girl teacher she didn’t know cover her monday and my daughter was fine. Today it was a guy teacher and her other regular teacher and she would not let me leave. Once we got her calmed downed which took 15 mins she legit wouldn’t let my leg go she then screamed at the window for me to come back which was so hard for me. She has never done that before. Is this normal? How to do I get her to be more accepting of male teachers? They have 3 in the school so I’m sure she will have this situation again where they will have to fill in on Occassion! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2O2MNDR
