Today I took my 18 month old out of his carseat, he couldn't stand and immediately fell and hit his head on the car. I brought him inside to get him food and a drink and left him on my bed. He normally climbs in and out of my bed fine. I hear him fall and run to him just in time for him to fall out and hit his head on the bathroom doorframe. It's like his whole little body just collapsed. I try to slow him down and get him hydrated, thinking maybe he overheated. Nothing worked. He hit his head a few more time and we said enough is a enough. We brought him to the ER. They did a drug test, check his blood sugar, checked his ears, and did a CAT scan. Nothing. My son was labeled as just clumsy. He's been walking since 9 months. He knows what he's doing. I brought home a toddler that still has a chance of knocking himself unconscious tonight. I plan to call his pediatrician in the morning and get him in as soon as possible. I've never seen anything like this. It reminds me of the start his father's seizures but no one his family has seizures until adulthood. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2AAyKnq
