TV Show That Induces Potty Training Accidents

There is a show called "Nina Needs To Go!" about a little girl who is just at the end of potty training. Great concept right? A show about potty training? I let my daughter (3.5 at the time) watch these short videos on YT. She loved them, I would watch the first 30 seconds then walk away.DO NOT SHOW THIS TO YOUR CHILDREN.My daughter was fully potty trained for six months and suddenly started having accidents. We had no clue where or why this was happening everywhere (at home, the park, at school). Then I watched the full three minute episode. And another.Show formula: -Fun family trip about to start. -Tell Nina to use the bathroom. -She says NO. -When they are far away from a bathroom (like on a mountain top or on a float in a parade) Nina says she needs to go. There's no bathroom. Accident? Nope. -Magic Grandma always swoops in with a helicopter, grappling hook, giant butterfly or some shit, and whisks Nina to a bathroom within seconds. -Nina gets to pee in a bathroom, no accident. Every time. No lesson even attempted. Most of the "fun" in the episode is all the things silly Grandma does, so the best part is the part when Nina really needs to pee and desperately begs for a bathroom. So Nina NEVER listens to her parents, ALWAYS has to pee when there is no bathroom, then is saved EVERY time by Grandma. It actively teaches kids they can hold their pee as long as they want without consequences because magic. We cut off "Nina Needs To Go!" cold turkey and the accidents stopped.WTF Disney Junior?! via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2DAbbfy
