I was never a fan of Winnie the Pooh growing up, having mainly been exposed to the Disney cartoon versions. Although I was an avid reader, the book never caught my attention. But I am absolutely enchanted with the audiobook dramatisation starring Stephen Fry, Dame Judi Dench, Geoffrey Palmer, and others. My kids have been listening to it on car trips for the past three months, maybe longer, and they'll happily go to sleep on their own if I pop it in the CD player. And I'm entertained as well. Turns out there's plenty of humor buried within the writing that I never picked up on as a child. So, does anyone out there have recommendations for other audiobook classics with this sort of quality production? Alice in Wonderland? Peter Pan? A Christmas Carol? The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2DM5KJK
