As a father I work a full time job as a software engineer and my wife works part-time as a warehouse coordinator. We both work hard to provide a reasonable income. Both of us were raised and taught by our respective parents that people will remember you for kindness rather than number of possessions you own. We dress in your standard jeans and t-shirt because neither of us are required to wear business attire and honesty prefer to be comfortable. We are having issues with our daughter's preschool teacher and the director at our church's school. We have a feeling our concerns are not appreciated the same as other parents. Both my wife and I do not care about how much money someone has just as long as they love their children unconditionally. The staff seems dismissive and condescending to us.How should we address the staff of our perceived lack of respect and prevent us as coming off as crass. We do not want to add additional reasons for them to ignore us.We want to remain there because we are members of the church and it is the only place that will allow us to not be late for work. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2DTUPeD
