Toddler (19 months) screams for a half hour at every minor transgression.

Hey, r/parenting. I’m coming to you today nearly at the end of my wits. Over the last few months my daughter’s attitude has gotten worse and worse. In the last few weeks it has crescendoed. It is impossible to tell what will whip her into a frenzy. Something as minor as my wife or myself going into a different room has the potential to start 15-30 minutes of screaming at the top of her lungs. Then suddenly she’s fine like nothing happened. I’m not sure if we have spoiled her so much that she thinks it will get her what she wants, and being first time parents, we’re not sure what to do to quell this behavior. My wife has taken to putting her in her crib and letting her scream it out for the really bad spells. It doesn’t feel right to me to do that, but I don’t say anything to her about it because I don’t have any better ideas. What should I do? Is this just the terrible two’s testing first time parents or should I be concerned? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2y1SScr
