PPT (parenting pro tip): Teach your kids the proper way to vomit. As adults, we know how to, but kids don't know and teaching them the basics will save some cleanup at 1am.

Last night our youngest daughter came running in to our bedroom saying she feels sick. We told her to go to her bathroom and we'll be right in there. Well, she goes in and throws up, but doesn't even aim for the toilet. There is vomit almost in the toilet and all over the floor. After making sure she is good and cleaning her up, I had a "fun" 30 minutes of cleaning up the floor and walls. If we had taken the time to teach her the basics of what to do when you get sick, the night may not have been so bad.Needless to say, this morning I went over what to do with her to avoid the mess in the future.
