Dear parents of Reddit, I’m looking for ideas for stories to tell my daughter. Preferably something didactic, and not how to annoy your parents :)My daughter is 9, and she only loves hearing real life stories. This kind of mother-daughter time is the only way to get her attention. We cuddle up in my bed, and I tell her some unique personal stories. The thing is though, and I’m running out of ideas about what to say and starting to repeat myself…I’ve found some examples here, but they were enough for like two weeks, and now I’m running on empty again. Can you tell me about your favorite (didactic) stories for your kids? Possibly a book, or a website, or an app with prompts that would help me think of something?
