My two-year-old has been referred to a specialist by his pediatrician for his lack of receptive and expressive speech. He does not have more than 10 words and have difficulty understanding instructions. He will not use words spontaneously, only parroting what I say sometimes. When he tried to pronounce words, he does not get the sounds correct. For example, the word "pepper" comes out as "duh-duh". We are a trilingual household. I had also asked for a referral to a speech therapist, but my pediatrician said they do not start speech therapy in this country until after three. What are some resources that I can consult, to help my son with his speech delay? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2uB9KIC
