Tantrums!

Need some advice for what to do with my 1.5 y/o son. The past few weeks, he has been having tantrums that are out of this world and seem to be from left field. He NEVER did this before.If he is looking at something (example being interested in something in the mall) I will let him for a few minutes. When we try to move on...he kicks, screams, and even bites us because he's angry and doesn't want to move. If he is getting into something he shouldn't at home...same thing. He has also been chucking his food and cups across the room (I know this is probably also normal).It's like he has two moods-sweet or TANTRUM.I am aware this is probably normal for a 1.5 y/o...but I am a FTM and need help with how to redirect or address it.
