It it developmentally appropriate to put a 12-week-old infant in daycare?

I'm really torn on this. On the one hand, we found a daycare we really like, and I think it will be a great fit for my 2-year-old. However, I'm not sure about putting a 12-week-old in a daycare setting. I guess it just feels like a 1:6 ratio isn't enough for an infant, as it feels like they might need one-on-one care for a while. My wife, on the other hand, is all on-board with leaving the kid there. What are your thoughts? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2trQDMq
